WayGay.co.uk is a busy community focussing on promoting acceptance and diversity in sexuality. Our user forums are at the heart of the operation where just 1,000 members have managed to clock up 108,000 messages.
In essence WayGay is a group of commercial-free friendly forums where discussions range from big brother to coming out. WayGay is also home to many UK LGBT University Support Groups.
In its time, WayGay has been endorsed by the NUS LGBT Student Campaign. It has also been funded by the National Lottery in the past. Several awards have been given for the concept and design of the site. WayGay was set up by a young gay student and some friends, and has grown over its six years in service. It continues to operate to serve people who are looking for a chilled out online discussion forum free from commercialism and dating-oriented services. |
